The Truth About Vaping Health
A new study comparing the consequences of two different kinds of e-liquid has just been published in JAMA. It compared the oral and nasal outward indications of two groups of teenage smokers. One group was given a non-nicotine e-liquid, and another Vape was given a nicotine e-liquid. The report’s conclusion? E-juices that contain either nicotine or no nicotine are not all bad for your health.
While it is critical to note that no side effects were noted, the analysis nevertheless introduces some interesting questions. For example, why is there a connection between quitting smoking and e-cigarette use? The authors of the study theorize that because smokers already are very aware of the health effects of smoking, they could unconsciously add e cigarettes with their habit. Nicotine is addictive, after all, and a smoker who quits is suddenly met with an obstacle they hadn’t known they had to overcome. As the smoking cessation treatment zig-zags across America on the next few years, it’s likely that the cigarettes will get more attention from public health officials.
In addition to the question of why vapor products have grown to be so closely linked to smoking cigarettes, another lingering question concerns the reason for teenage smoking. One explanation is due to the fact that adolescent brains go through periods of growth and development, and they’re not always equipped to handle the mental stimulation provided by smoking cigarettes. There’s also a chemical change in the brain through the final year of senior high school, which could account for why some teenagers choose to vapore instead of smoke. Nicotine is addictive, in the end, and the chemicals developed by your body when it metabolises it may be too much for young children’s brains to handle.
There’s a lot to consider when trying to understand the health risks of vapourising tobacco products. But we are able to already look at the great things about vaping: the ability to sidestep government health regulations and avoid smokers paying higher health bills. Which means that those who wish to smoke but who are concerned about the consequences of doing so should consider the benefits of e-cigs before going cold turkey.
The electronic cigarette called the vaporizer, for example, is very simple in structure. It runs on the base of propylene glycol and a refillable lighter fluid. Once lit, it heats up the liquids to create nicotine and vapor, which in turn reach the mouth. Some vapers use mechanical devices that resemble pens and pencils as they aerosolise the liqueurs. However the mostly used e-cigarette nowadays will be the electric e Cigarettes, or the eggs, because they are simpler to use, and sometimes they’re even more fun to test out.
There are two main forms of cis – nicotine free and nicotine containing. Nicotine free versions contain no nicotine, and so they can’t really be considered a cigarette. Nicotine containing ecigs, however, do contain small traces of nicotine, which provide them with their flavor, and make them more addictive. So nicotine free versions are not so much illegal with regard to smoking, but are more in favor of the public’s health. But even then, it seems that e-cigarette companies can’t ever completely remove all traces of nicotine from their products, and this is probably the reason why more people opting for the healthier alternative.
As well as health issues, there’s another reason why more teenagers are trying out e-cigs. This has to do with the fact that they are able to help teens who wish to pursue a career in electronic media marketing. As we all know, kids nowadays are extremely thinking about everything linked to computers, especially the internet. By using e-cigs, they can be in a position to understand how to promote and market products through internet sites, without having to cope with the harsh realities of the actual industry.
But in general, the use of vaporizers may have a limited effect on reducing tobacco product use and increasing the health risks users face every day. E-cigs can help users reduce the risks, but the real solution lies in removing tobacco products from your home altogether. And even if you’re not going to give up cigarettes and cigars any moment in the future, you should at least try to minimize your intake of most tobacco products, including the ever-popular nicotine gum. You may just discover that you’ll actually enjoy being truly a non-smoker after all!
